Dead by Dawn and Dead by Dawn Lite version 1.1.9 are now available for download in the iTunes app store. The HD versions are still under review and should be available shortly!

Dead by Dawn version 1.1.9 is now available in the Amazon app store. Dead by Dawn lite will not be made available for Kindle Fire in the app store due to regulations against Advertisement enabled apps.
I still haven't quite got around to submitting version 1.1.9 to Apple for review, I've had my head burried in this new project which will be unveiled in the coming months. Without giving too much away, picture RType meets Diablo.

Dead by Dawn version 1.1.9 is now available on the Android marketplace. The new version has also been submitted to the Amazon app store for review and should be available in about a week. The iTunes developer portal is currently closed for the holiday but will be open on friday at which point I will submit the update into review. The iTunes review process usually takes about a week as well.
Here is a summary of the changes:
- scores will now be uploaded even when objective is failed (seemed like the right thing to do, who wants to play for 5 minutes just to lose all your hard earned kill points by dying?)
- increased zombie aggression and max simultaneous zombies for a more challenging experience
- fixed some minor asthetic issues
That's all for now, I have future plans to add new weapons and maps but those may just end up in a sequel. As always, if you have any suggestions, complaints, etc... I'd love to hear them, feel free to email me at todd@LucidVisiionGames.com or post your thoughts on the forums. And last but not least, if you like Dead by Dawn and have not rated it please take the time to do so and let the world know what you think!

Dead by Dawn version 1.1.8 is now available on the Android marketplace.
Summary of changes:
- Zombie behavior was fine tuned and use of animations was improved
- Fixed a minor issue with the game type menu screen
- Reduced compression on some of the textures to improve the look of the game
- Added a theme song to the menu screens courtesy of my good friend Shawn Stafford .
Many may notice that Dead by Dawn no longer appears in the marketplace. If this is the case it is because I've increased the minimum graphic and processor requirements to run the game. If you have been able to run Dead by Dawn on your device without issue thus far, please email me with the Make, model and OS version on your device.

In response to the increasing number of 1 star ratings left by people who have an older device incapable of running Dead by Dawn I've released version 1.1.7. This version has an additional low res setting that disables the fog effect that gives the game it's pitch-black darkness look. I've also increased the minimum system requirements for devices that will can see the game in the marketplace.
If this has caused you to be unable to see the update but the game was running well on your device, please email me with the name of your device and I can manually enable the game for your specific device.
If you enjoy Dead by Dawn and would like to see a sequel in the near future, please take the time to rate it and leave a comment in the marketplace.

Just posted Dead by Dawn version 1.1.6 to the android marketplace. It should be ready for download within a half hour or so. Here is a summary of the changes:
- new "play 'til you die" game type added
- new zombie attack added
- leaderboard sign up and messages improved
- Ad Banner crash error fixed
- Added high and low-res Graphics modes (the lowest mode will appear slightly less attractive but should give a huge performance boost to the lower end devices experiencing frame rate issues)

Dead by Dawn version 1.1.5 is now available. The game has been optimized substantially and should run great on most devices. there's still a bit of consistent frame rate lag on some of the lower end devices but I'm hoping to have that fully resolved in the next couple of days.
Please email me at Todd@LucidVisionGames.com with the name of your device if you have any problems and I will do my best to fix it!

A new exciting addition has been made to LucidVisionGames.com. We now have two developer tools available for making games in XNA Game Studio 3.1.
The first is EzFx2D which generates two dimensional particle effects for use in XNA Game Studio projects. EzFx2D enables developers to create a vast array of effects by tweaking them in a real-time previewer and exporting directly to an XNA Game Studio project requiring a minimal amount of coding to display and use the effects. EzFx2D can be used free for a 14 day trial period and a full license can be purchased for only $9.99 from our online store.
The second tool is an XNA Model Viewer for XNA Game Studio 3.1. This viewer allows you to easly import .FBX files to see how they would look in an XNA Game. The viewer features a properties window that allows you to adjust the settings of the XNA BasicEffect shader to see the different results in real-time. This tool is absolutely free to use.

Good news all, version 1.6 of Nuke Your Neighbor has just passed peer review and will be available for download within the next 24 hours. I will most likely be on playing custom xbox live matches later tonight so hit me up if you want to get a game going. Oh and please let me know what you think of the new version, your input is greatly appreciated.

Just incase anyone has been wondering where the new release (version 1.6) is that I was referring to in my last post, well I haven't been able to get the game through review (plus I've spent a lot of time working on the new game, which is much more interesting to me at this point).
I did finally spend the time to take care of the issues and made a bunch of improvements to Nuke Your Neighbor to hopefully give the gamers a more enjoyable experience, I will be submitting the new release this week and hopefully it will make it through this time. sorry for the wait.

Took a break from the new projects to make some small changes to Nuke Your Neighbor. I've speed up the whole game to acheive less waiting and more playing, you should see a noticeable difference in the next version. I also enabled calling last card for eliminated players in the Elimination modes, because there's no fun in waiting...
More good news, Creators Club a.k.a. Indie Games has implemented automatic updates, so each time you log in you are prompted to download the new version if there is one available, thank god (and Microsoft)
The new version was just submitted to peer review so hopefully it will be available within a week.

Nuke your Neighbor Version 1.5 has just been submitted to review. I took my time with this release, 2 straight months of reworking things that bugged me about the game (Actually I've been working a lot on the new game too, which I will have a downloadable demo of in the near future, so check back soon). Here is a summary of the changes:
- New play by play Tutorial mode
- 4 New game types: Elimination, Team Elimination, Heads Up and Heads Up Elimination.
The Elimination game types are a one hit kill, once you get nuked by a Two, Joker and failed last card call, you are out until the round ends and you're stuck with your cards.
The Heads Up game types are intended to allow multiple local gamers on a console to play deathmatch against each other, the reason I didn't do this before is because of the local gamers can see each others cards, so I figured hey, why not make it so everyone can see each others cards.
- Insane mode, for those who think Expert mode is too easy, try this one on for size!
Thats it, feel free to hit me up if you want to get some games goin, send a message to RuthlessSD.

Nuke Your Neighbor version 1.4 is now available under the Card and Board section of the xbox live marketplace. You will not find it in the New Releases section and unfortunately you will not be automatically notified of the update either, please make sure you delete the old version before downloading the update.

A new update for Nuke Your Neighbor has just been submitted for review today. The update should be available in another week or two depending on the reviewers.
Summary of changes:
- Joining a game in progress is enabled for custom matches, this means you can start a custom xbox live match by yourself and play against the computer until other players join and take over the computer players seats.
- A new rule applies when playing 4's. If you play a 4 as your second to last card then last card will be automatically called. The old 4 rule still applies, if you play a 4 you must play another playable card or draw 1 card.
- Some great new art and effects have been added, you'll just have to wait and see.
NOTE: The price has been dropped to 200 MS points ($2.50 USD) to encourage an increase of online players, the goal here is that everyone will be able to find a full table of players at any time. The price will be set back to the original price of 400 MS points ($5.00 USD) so get it for less while you can.

Nuke Your Neighbor is XNPlay Approved!!!
"If I had to sum this one up in one word, it would have to be Nuketacular.
This game rocks, it has the overall polish and atmosphere that other video card games lack and it does what most others don’t - make the most of the medium."

A new release of Nuke you Neighbor is on it's way, here is a summary of the changes:
- Custom matches will allow joining while the game is in progress. Sorry but ranked matches must be joined while the host is in the lobby, otherwise the ranked stats would be meaningless.
- The search option now has a feature to search continuously until a match is found or until you press the B button to cancel the search. This should help to increase your chances of finding a match. Custom also allows you to start a match with only one player so you can enjoy playing against the computer while waiting for more players.
- Some small visual defects have been fixed to give the game a more thorough and perfected look.
